The Melbourne Silver Mine is taking over the Melbourne Flickr group‘s regular monthly social meetup in October.
The event is a social BBQ sausage sizzle with an analogue twist
Various cameras will be available for the normally digi-cam toting folk in the Melbourne group to shoot with. Medium format rigs, loaded with Kodak Tri-x is most probably the theme of the line up of gear.
MSM members Roberts Birze, Rhys Allen and Zaeem Burq will be developing the negatives on the picnic table, and with a bit of luck backed up by some thorough planning, producing prints from the negatives developed on the day before the snags run out.
There MSM will have some typical BBQ fare available for purchase, cheap and cheerful, so bring yourself, a friend if you like and something to drink down to the park, meet your fellow Mine members and a diverse range of photographers.
